Hi everyone!  Happy Friday ........ so ready for the weekend!!!
I've got a layout to share with you today that I created for the July Challenge at Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo

The theme for the July Challenge is beauty.  I chose to scrap this picture I took a few years back of a bee on flower in my garden.  Love the beauty in all things nature.
I added lots of stamping and misting on the background paper and as always my favorite chipboard from 2Crafty Chipboard.

Here are a few closeups:
I embossed the Frame Lucy's Flourish with a mixture of Ebony, Fuchsia and Verdant
embossing powders.  The same was used on the Bubble Clumps.  The bottom left of the
picture is a piece from the Oriental Flower Stem, embossed with Verdant embossing powder.
I added some microbeads to the Bubble Clumps.

The title was embossed with a mixture of Ebony and Fuchsia embossing powders.
  Love the effect!

Tucked beneath the pink is a flower piece I cut from the Oriental Flower Stem,
which I embossed with Fuchsia embossing powder.

I'll be back in a few days to share another layout with you featuring chipboard from 2Crafty chipboard.

2Crafty Chipboard Used:
Corner Twisted Vine
Elsa Frame
Ornate Screen
Butterfly Frames

To the left and right of the photo I placed the Elsa Frame which I cut in half and embossed with antique taupe embossing powder.  I wanted to mimic a garden gate.  I embossed the Corner Alexia's also with antique taupe powder and cut it in half and used at the bottom sides of the photo.  Among the flowers I placed the Corner Twisted Vine, embossed with verdant and antique taupe powders.

At the top of the photo I placed the Ornate Screen, embossed antique taupe, along with the title.  To the side I placed the Lavender Shrub embossed with verdant powder.

Here you can see more of the Lavander Shrub, along with the Butterfly Frame embossed with plum powder.

Cherish The Moments - 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi everyone!  I'm back to share another layout created for 2Crafty Chipboard.  I went for a more vintage style this time, wanting to complement the treasured picture of my grandparents.

I applied three different mists on the background, brown, teal and tea stain along with some paint splatters.  Lots of flowers and lovely 2Crafty Chipboard!

I embossed the Festive Vine with some brown and turquoise embossing powders.  I cut it into pieces and used the pieces on various places on my layout.

At the top you see a piece of the Festive Vine.  I also placed one of the Clock Face Frames embossed with brown and antique taupe embossing powders.  The Sharon's Butterfly was embossed with a mixture of  auburn and brown embossing powders.

At the base of my photo is another piece from the Festive Vine.  Beneath the flower to the left I placed Lattice Leaves embossed with verdant embossing powder.

My title was embossed with a mixture of antique taupe and brown embossing powders.  To finish off my layout I added brown and copper microbeads.

My Happy Place - 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi everyone!  Hope you are enjoying the weekend.  It's chilly one here.  So much inconsistency in our weather lately.  Cool one day, hot the next and then back to cool and add in some rain.  It's been a hard Spring for working outdoors.  Today I have a layout to share that I created for 2Crafty Chipboard.  It features a picture of my front flower garden from a couple of years ago.

Not my normal for a layout.  I did not add any mixed media or stamping to the background.  Love the lovely paper from Blue Fern Studios Memories collection.  I added lots of flowers and beautiful 2Crafty Chipboard.  Visit 2Crafty Chipboard here to see a step by step picture tutorial.

Timeless - 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi everyone!  Back to share another layout created for 2Crafty Chipboard

I found the amazing picture on Pinterest, the papers are from an old Prima collection Butterfly.
I misted the background paper and applied several stamps, some masking and paint splatters.

I love the details in the Butterfly Flourish! I embossed it with purple and gold and added some gold micro beads for dimension.

To the left and right of the picture I placed pieces from the Mini Flourish Bits.  I embossed them with a mixture of purple and gold embossing powders and added some gold mico beads.

Above the picture I used a piece from the Element Set 1, embossed with a mixture of purple and gold embossing powders.

The title timeless is from the Fine Word Set 2.  I embossed it with some light purple embossing powder.

Happiness Is This - 2Crafty Chipboard

Hi everyone!  It's that time of the month when I can share my projects designed for 2Crafty Chipboard.

Since it is Spring here and some of the bushes and flowers are out, I wanted to create a colorful
layout.  I used a picture of my friend's daughter from a few years back.  Thought the picture was the perfect fit for the title. I applied some roses with a stencil to the background and some pink mist.

On both sides of the photo I used the Flourish Adornment Set 3. I normally like to emboss the chipboard pieces on my layouts, but used a different technique for this layout.  I covered them with gesso and then colored them with a light green mousse and a sprinkling of green glitter.  I cut apart the smaller frame from the Fine Stem Frames set, covered it with gesso and them applied some pink peony mousse and placed the pieces among the flowers.

Love the dainty title.  I covered it with gesso and applied pink peony mousse.
